CARRYING OUT ESTATES CONDITION APPRAISALS
We are experienced in carrying out Condition Appraisals in accordance with the methology set out in the NHS Estates Guidance Publication.
We carry out a detailed condition survey on a room by room basis for the following facets:-
- Physical Condition
- Statutory Compliance including Fire.
- Space Utilisation
- Functional Suitability
- Quality
- Environmental Management
Following the survey we carry out a Desktop exercise comprising:-
- Establishing the Condition Rankings
- Estimating the expenditure required to achieve Condition B.
- Completing a Backlog Profile for the Estate.
- Compiling a Report on the Condition of the Estate
It is important that Estates Condition Appraisals are periodically updated and adjusted following significant changes to an Estate to ensure that the information is current and to facilitate the completion of the ERIC Returns.
